People are allowed to have crappy weeks.
People are allowed to roll their eyes when you think you’re being funny but aren’t.
People are allowed to walk away and not debate, discuss, or respond to what you think is funny whether it is indeed funny or not.
So — in that regard, dear coworker, don’t frickin make me look like an incompetent idiot in front of my supervisor when I might have stuck something in the wrong divider (because you’re yacking at me) once or twice in nearly two years. And don’t laugh at me when I roll my eyes when I state I’m human just like you are. Don’t continue to make fun of me either — and get annoyed when I say I’m not gonna discuss it further.
Thankfully my boss laughed it off because I’m not an incompetent idiot — but still, the coworker in question will be telling people (as she loves to gossip) that I have no sense of humor. Bad enough she already insulted me awhile back by saying she’d hire me (for my part time business) because I was probably the cheapest option.
No, I’m having a crappy week and I have the right not to find you funny.
