Numero Dos: … and am glad this weekend’s sessions are of dogs

Numero Tres: I own way too many templates and what not. I’m not even a third of the way through sorting through all the places I have biz files stored (usb drives, laptops, external drives) and already I have nearly 30 GBs of files sorted. Yeesh!

Numero Quatro: Stress has finally caught up with me this week … both my TMJ and intestinal track had enough and rebelled back. Time for some more changes …

Both of the houses my parents built (and I was raised in) had oak panelling in practically every room. I swore that when I built a house of my own there wouldn’t be a single stinkin panel of woodgrain in my home other than wood floors.

Guess what?

My business + personal blogs have woodgrain backgrounds now. They’re my online homes. And I love it now. For my blogs and whatnot …

… but that home I’ll build someday, it still won’t have oak panelling!

1. I think part of a best friend’s job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die. 
 
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. 
 
3. I totally take back all those times I didn’t want to nap when I was younger.

5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren’t going to do anything productive for the rest of the day. 
 
12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don’t want to have to restart my collection…again. 
 
13. I’m always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to. 
 
14. “Do not machine wash or tumble dry” means I will never wash this – ever. 
 
15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Damn it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What did you do after I didn’t answer? Drop the phone and run away? 
 
16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste. 
 
17. I keep some people’s phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call. 
 
18. I think the freezer deserves a light as well. 
 
19. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay. 
  
21. Sometimes, I’ll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it. 
 
22. I would rather try to carry 10 over-loaded plastic bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in. 
 
23. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I’m trying to finish a text. 
 
24. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger. 
 
25. How many times is it appropriate to say “What?” before you just nod and smile because you still didn’t hear or understand a word they said? 
 
26. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters! 
 
27. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever. 
 
28. Is it just me or do high school kids get dumber & dumber every year? 
 
29. There’s no worse feeling than that millisecond you’re sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far. 
 
30. As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate bicyclists. 
 
31. Sometimes I’ll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is. 
 
32.  Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey – but I’d bet my ass everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time

 – at least the two I predicted would make the final two were correct for once. I was wrong on the final three (had predicted Ty, not Frank) …

 – Poor Chris, he was really my pick, or at least the guy I’d have chosen had I been Ali.

 – The rainbow, that was awesome. Before they even reverted to the behind the scenes/after interview with him about it, I blurted out, “that’s his mom’s sign to him all will be alright” … and yes, I’m a believer in signs

 – The cheesy wrap up with the Lion King song. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not. I don’t feel the love. There’s passion / lust there with Ali & Roberto, but love, nope, not feelin’ it.

 – Why does she keep mispronouncing Roberto? Seriously, how do you butcher Roberto so badly and so often?

 – I seriously hope Chris is the next Bachelor … because he’s the only reason I’d watch another season of that side of the series (Bachelorette is a bit more enjoyable, in comparison to the string of loser jerks that they keep picking for The Bachelor). In fact, I’d be tempted to apply for it … tempted, but won’t.

 – and yes, I’ll probably watch Bachelor Pad because of the aforementioned lack of shows competing against it and the whole train wreck issue. I hope Craig and Weatherman get into a fight. And that Gia breaks country music wannabe guy’s heart.

Last week I scored a flannel pj set ($59.95 regular price) + free pair of houseshoes for $33 w/ shipping and tax.

Earlier I found a $10 off code and got some more sleepware for $16 total.

But … when I went into the store to use my $10 ‘gift card’ I couldn’t find anything I liked in my size. Didn’t need more underwear seeing how many I’ve scored there this year — in fact, I’ve given a couple of my coupons away because I was too lazy to venture to the store by the expiration date. The bras I liked were more than I wanted to pay after the $10 was taken off — and the ones I like that aren’t overpriced after the coupon are only available online. I don’t need more lotion or perfume, B&BW takes care of that w/ their freebie coupons. Have no one to wear lingerie for, so that’s a wasted expense. So, what of all things do I walk of there with?

Hair products.

Yeah, you read that correctly. Hair products — their 3 for $24 deal — shampoo, detangler, and hair refreshing cloths all for a little over $15. Did I mention it smells very good?

Go ahead, laugh your butt off after the stunned silence wears away. Everyone else is.

… work at home: As enticing as the idea is to me — I have my own ideas about working at home. See, it involves an arsenal of cameras and lenses, a computer or two, and clients. As that’s not what you’re offering, please cease and desist with the emails pronto.

… get your CSI training online: Pray tell, how exactly does the labs work for that? I think I’d go for UNT’s program if I wanted to truly become a CSI. It, however, involves more science that I’m interested in taking. That’s why I nixed the whole physical therapist idea less than a semester into undergrad.
