1) Fall weather. Summer, be gone already!

2) Calmness. As in, I’m over the ‘feast’ at work, famine for a week or so would be quite dandy!

3) Another Texas win. Yes, I’m a Longhorn fanatic. I have the sweats, tees, sweatshirt hoodies, Christmas ornaments & stocking, and singing Bevo mascot to prove it. Oh, and a box of Bevo Christmas cards I scored a day after Christmas deal on that I’ll be sending to friends and family this year

4) A new season of television begins tonight. I forsee 2-3 new shows being added to my television watching lineup (and by watching, I really meaning listening to, as I usually edit client and personal images while watching tv!)

5) That I will make it through Thursday blogging here, because then I’ll have reached my goal of blogging here daily for three straight months!

I’ve had a folder full of car images sitting on my computer desktop for most of the summer with plans of sharing them all by now. Since summer’s nearly over and before I forget about them yet again until after holiday sessions wind down, I decided to share several of my favorites over the next couple of months. The above image as well as the rest of this series of car images were photographed in late 2008, so I’m way overdue on sharing them!

A bit of a backstory: Most people don’t realize it, but I do have a bit of a fascination with classic cars. I blame it on my father instilling in me at an early age that the 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang is *the* one and only classic worthy of owning — maybe one of these days I’ll have the excess funds to do so. And no, that’s not the 1964 1/2 Mustang above — its a 1969 model, but I’m sure it is worth a very pretty penny. And no, I’m not the owner of this one. Meanwhile I’ll settle for having previously bought myself a 2001 edition without a co-signer on his birthday eight years ago (not needing him to co-sign was my gift to him that year!). I miss my ‘stang dearly, maybe I’ll cave and trade in the Fusion for the 2011 edition in another couple years!

This article on Yahoo’s home page about the world’s most beautiful college campuses — I just saw one of these campuses (from the full list – the US Air Force Academy) earlier in the summer! And a number of the rest of the list was already on my must visit one day list!

Advil Cold & Sinus — along with Excedrin Migraine, is the only reason I’m functioning. Today is the first day I haven’t wanted to hurl … so tired of this tension/sinus killer headache

Love days off from the day job … thank goodness for federal (and the occasional state) holidays!

Love the Groupon.com gift certificate I bought a couple weeks ago — $25 for a $50 Gap gift certificate!

… as well as the most comfy pair of jeans ever that I bought with it on sale (nearly 50% off) + the only black button up cardigan in the store that just happened to fit me

Love my new winter *coat* that I found at Old Navy (mine’s tan w/ magenta, cyan, and lime stripes, out of stock online) … and the sales girl that gave me a 30% off coupon so I could save $15 off the regular price!
